i enjoyed tuesday's orientation 2 =).

O2 can't be compared with the original, but i think it still turned out really well for a one-day event. it was nice to take a break from lessons and all. plus, i got to hang out with my og. we don't get to see each other that much anymore because of our very different schedules. we really had a blast!

we had 7 new people in our og. i did make an effort to talk to them but i think the 2nd intake girls felt a bit left out. i guess it's not easy to integrate quickly when everyone else obviously knows each other well. but they still were pretty receptive and spontaneous =). the new guys had an easier time fitting in i think.

late in the morning we went up to the poolside and some of the guys started dunking each other. then i got caught offguard and was thrown in. i really tried to break free of their grip but of course i wasn't successful. but in the end getting dunked was pretty fun and i didn't really mind. the water was refreshing!

lily was just laughing there while i was struggling but she got dunked too later. HAHA. in the end almost everyone in my og got dunked, and we started grabbing random friends to dunk too. it was quite a sight.

my og didn't play many station games, but we had fun among ourselves. ivan introduced the 'pocky challenge' in which people have to attempt to clean their pocky sticks of their coating as fast as possible. the slowest person or the first person to break his/her stick has to eat everyone else's stick. the game produced hilarious results. jerome broke his stick twice in a row. you can imagine how many second-hand[or mouth, in this case] pocky sticks he had to eat!

we played the ever popular truth or dare too. in class the game always tends towards truths but somehow in my og it's almost always dares. i had to do two dares, but i shan't go into details.

oh and we got to re-learn black or white too. coolness!

the school's photocopy shop queue moves way too slowly. i think it takes 5 minutes for someone to move 1 metre forward in the queue. they should hire more staff you know. i assure you that right now, MB>MC.

i must try to apply econs more since i'm upgrading it to H2. X) the textbook is seriously thick! but it's nothing compared to the bio one grace was describing i think. i need a bio textbook too.

hmm. i completely didn't expect to get past the aptitude test for srp since my o level results don't make the required grades in the first place. i guess it was a fortunate thing that we had to apply with our prelim results. i heard there's a lot of commitment involved in srp. but oh well, this is pretty good news and i shall just take things as they come. i'm leaving things in God's hands =). if God allowed me to get in, then of course i'll go along with it.

tomorrow's the last day of term 1. how time flies! oh and i just realised it's the final day for the notification of successful appeal cases too. i'd like things to turn out a certain way, but it's all in God's hands. His judgement is the best.
